The third city of the peninsula, counting the inhabitants, famous worldwide for its absolutely delicious cuisine, a real world of museums and art, Naples will guarantee a dream vacation! A city with a grand history, the place where pizza was "born" and where you can wander the winding streets countless, colourful rope laundry hung up to dry, the town promises to surprise you with the contrasts and Latin spirit. If you want to get into a place full of castles and churches, where you can enjoy Mediterranean flavours and the unique landscape, choose the holiday destination of Naples! "I'm leaving. Undoubtedly, a place of contrasts, Naples will open the door to a world spiced with luxurious buildings located next to the street where traders spread their goods, which flock to churches and palaces where the shadow of volcanic ash wants to throw into the sea. What to visit
Do not forget to visit the old city, to admire the typical Roman street structure. In the historic centre between Piazza Garibaldi and Via Toledo you will find Piazza del Gesu Nouvo (Jesus Square), surrounded by many churches. There you will also see the Duomo, in whose chapel is enshrined blood of San Gennaro, the city patron. Go to visit Castel dell'Ovo, part of the Gulf, Capuano Castle, built by William I, Castle Maschio Angioino or Castel Nuovo. Do not miss the cities of Pompei and Herculaneum, Vesuvius buried in lava, Archaeological Museum, where you will enjoy some pieces from the Iron Age and Bronze, Piazza Plebiscito, City Square, San Domenico Maggiore or Royal Palace. Take your time to visit beautiful basilicas in the city such as San Francesco di Paola and Santa Maria del Carmine.
The zest for life of the locals will wake up your party mood. Undoubtedly, the local dialect and the traditional music will guide you through the thousands of colourful narrow streets. Street performers and puppet shows will be a treat of your trip in southern Italy.
